A Form on a Website...How?

OK Well other websites have forms that you can specify a certain type of processor, video card ...ect... and then you get a price for it. I do not know HTML that much and wonder how I can do that in frontpage? Is it possible? Problem with me is I lack skills in that area

that usually requires a EXCEL database and code that ties into the excel.

No no Patch...
I'm talking about a form! Like with the drop down boxes where you can pick what product from each section you want in a custom PC...submit it then we'd e-mail them an answer to that custom built computer with a price Hence called a form. Have you ever been on sites where you had to fill out a form? Well we want something like that, but with drop down boxes instead of just fill in the blanks.

i dont remember how to make it Email the WHOLE FORM...
but i know how to do drop down boxes...

dreamweaver can add the box in,. but the coder needs to add in the options for the box..

i will look around and try to remember how to get it to email...

if i can, then i might can work on your form..

thanks a bundle patch...the form has become a big issue with us latley since we are a custom pc company, we would of course need a form so people could e-mail a form on what their looking for!

so that you can put in what options you want...

but i gotta figure out how to email it first.

i don't think you'd really have to email the whole form, like a picture or something of it, but you could just take whatever it says in each box that was selected and list them and put a price at the bottom...

just a suggestion

when you select the email option..
it doesnt email a pic of the site page..

it emails whatever box of info you tell it to..

Patch...I have a form host but their now banning my account in 24 hours becuz im hosting the form on my own server! How gay right? lol

ok, all the form areas are functional, except the email part..

i am getting office 2002, in order to have frontpage.. whcih i can use to code the email sector..

the original thing it used to email was a seperate PHP page, which is down now, and i cant view it..

so it might be a few days... is that alright?
